Listen & Be Heard Network High School Internship Program

How better to further the mission of Listen & Be Heard Network, than for each one to teach one. Our inaugural partnership with New York Institute for Collaborative Education, is sponsored by Sound System Culture Inc.

Two soon-to be High School graduates, Micah Franklin Johnson and Javier Famania, have been practicing their multi-media gardening skills during their very last semester of high school, and we have been honored to share this special time with them. They have created book and author bio posts for the website, written columns, recorded podcast segments that were featured on The Listen & Be Heard Hour, edited video and more.

We hope to give our hard working interns summer jobs, and to continue to feature their work as producers. Here in the garden, roots hold everything together, so once you join the network you are forever entwined in the growth of the garden.

Perhaps you would consider directly supporting a summer job for these two young men who are preparing to go to college in the fall of 2026. Your donation would be tax deductible, and can be earmarked to go, in its entirety, to paying our Listen & Be Heard Network interns to use the skills that they have learned.
