Anderson Zaca, Photography

He is the author of *Block Party NYC: Soul of Summer* and *Fire Island Invasion: Day of Independence*. Zaca has exhibited his work internationally and traveled extensively for various photo documentaries, assignments, and commercial projects. His commercial clients include Nike, Budweiser, Neiman Marcus, Spotify, Renault, Rolling Stone, The Economist, and many others, and he has also collaborated with Fujifilm, Samsung, and Sony. In 2018, he received the Best Fashion Photographer award from the Visual Arts Press Awards.

Russell Frederick, Photography
Read more: Russell Frederick, PhotographyAfter the first day of class Russell knew what he wanted to do for the rest of his life and he never looked back. At this time he was working in healthcare and in nursing school. A career as a nurse would be steady work but a career as a photographer had much more longterm value and fulfillment to Russell. His mission with his camera was to shift the negative perspectives some people had of humans of African descent and marginalized communities with positive images done with cultural nuance and humanity.

Ozier Muhammad, Photojournalist
Read more: Ozier Muhammad, PhotojournalistOzier Muhammad graduated with a B.A., in photography from Columbia College in Chicago. He has been a photojournalist for more than 3 decades. His first job was as a staff photographer at Ebony Magazine. Ozier joined The Charlotte Observer in 1978, went to Newsday in 1980 and has been at the New York Times since 1992.
