The Listen & Be Heard Show for Readers & Writers has been exploring the topic of Banned Books in its second season. We invite you to share your thoughts on the topic! Please send us a recording that we can air on the show following the instructions below. We look forward to hearing from you!
RECORDING INSTRUCTIONS
- Please provide a 2-3 minute recording
- Use a voice memo app or the voice message option in your text app
- Find a quiet place to record
- Introduce yourself (just you first name is fine)
- Begin with an opening statement that includes the topic, for example: “When I hear about the banning of books some thoughts come to mind…”
- At the end you must include this sentence: “I give my permission for Listen and Be Heard to use this recording for broadcast and podcast.”
- Listen your recording and make any adjustments needed, like moving the phone closer or further away.
- Once you’re happy with your message, email it to Books@ListenandBeHeard.net with the subject line “Banned Books”
