Jonathan Thirkield is a poet and digital artist. He is the author of two collections—Infinity Pool (University of Chicago Press Phoenix Poets 2024) and The Waker’s Corridor, winner of the 2008 Walt Whitman Award of the Academy of American Poets. His poems and interactive work have appeared in The New Yorker, Paris Review, Conjunctions, and other journals. His digital work includes an interactive visualization of Dante’s Inferno and a computational poetic sequence which was accessioned into the Rhizome ArtBase. He teaches computational media and digital arts at Parsons, the New School, and Columbia University.
