Poem of the Week
Listen & Be Heard is accepting submissions for the Poem of the Week.
Guidelines:
- Send an email with “Poem of the Week” in the subject with your poem submission in the body of the email, with your full name to submissions@listenandbeheard.net
- Send only one poem.
- Please include a bio of 200 words or less
- All poetry must be previously unpublished
Please do not send us more work until you have heard from us regarding your initial submission.
Columnists and Reviewers Needed
Literature, Visual Art, Movies, Music, Events and more…
- We are seeking columnists on arts related topics, and reviewers to cover their genre. Please send an email with “Columns and Reviews” in the subject, your C.V. a brief cover letter, and links to up to three previously published articles to submissions@listenandbeheard.net. This is a volunteer opportunity.
Podcast Proposals
Listen & Be Heard is in the planning stages of hosting arts related podcasts. We hope to eschew the traditional advertising models, or pay for play schemes, by promoting ways to network and barter with each other to generally improve opportunities for creative people. We will consider proposals that are arts related in the broadest sense. Please think about what community or communities you are a participant of and how your podcast would generally serve that community by creating awareness, education, networking, promotion of local events, publications etc. We will provide the facilities and host the files. This is a volunteer opportunity.
Guidelines:
- Send your proposal, with “Podcast Proposal” in the subject to submissions@listenandbeheard.net
- Please include details like the length and frequency of broadcast, community served, minute-by-minute format of your show, collaborators who may be involved in the production.
- Please include a bio of 200 words or less
