Bobo Gets Brushed

One thing I have learned about Great Pyrenees dogs, is they shed a lot of fur. A lot. Bobo is about two years old now. He hates a bath, but he doesn’t mind a brushing. Yesterday, my son John showed up to do some work around here, and grooming was at the top of the list. Later on Ryan and Zay showed up, and they helped him with clipping the goats’ hooves and then moved them over to their alternate run, where the grass and weeds and trees had grown back enough to feed them for a couple days. But I didn’t video tape it, because I have been putting my nose to the grindstone. Is that an expression? It seems like I’ve heard it before and it’s exactly how I feel, keeping my nose in front of the computer.

But it will be worth it when I can start announcing the daily schedule in the WLBH.org audio garden, because I will have it all worked out for you, on a daily basis, some fresh local programming, some nutritious food for thought from the Pacifica Affiliate Network, of course, the L&BH Hour for Readers & Writers, and, some heirloom poetry too, from those of you who want to be heard at the new Listen & Be Heard Open Mic at Coupe’s Corner in downtown Greenville, starting June 19th.

I did take a little time out to smell the roses, well they’re beautiful, but honestly they don’t have much of a smell, and appreciate seeing so many kiwis, for the first time, on the hardy kiwi vine. Here’s to hoping that the birds leave us some.
