Longer days lead to more eggs

I don’t always wash the eggs but these definitely had to be cleaned.

A little bit more sunlight each day and the chickens start to lay.

I suppose it’s in the natural order of things to take a break from eating eggs every day…

  1. we do not wash our eggs here unless they are really dirty, I get mine from a local organic farm free range. I had my own hens until my dog Busby played with them…he never meant to hurt/kill them he played with them. It was my fault I did not introduce him to them as family. sigh. I would love to have hens again. they make such beautiful noises. With such a lovely product to boot. plu plus all round wonderful.
