We have had these kiwi vines growing for six years now. Mr. Mims constructed the trellis especially for them, after reading on the tag (a father’s day gift) that they grow up to twenty feet. We didn’t actually read the tag until the second year though. The first year they grew very fast in my kitchen garden, and it became apparent that they would take over the entire bed.
The tag also said that they are arctic kiwis, making it possible to grow them here in Greenville. There are  many flowers. I am trying not to count on kiwis yet…but I am thinking about looking up some recipes.
Wow! I might have to get some of those! I love passionflower vines too, they grow incredibly fast and have beautiful flowers too! 🙂
I’m not familiar with Passion Flower. Do you have any pics? I generally prefer growing food though.
I’ll try to find a picture! Their fruit is passion fruit, it’s very tasty! 🙂
Ok I can’t post a picture here, but here is a link: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passiflora
Thank you for the link! I think I’ve seen passion fruit for sale around here. I’m not sure if it’s grown around here. What a beautiful and strange flower…
