I had a table of books, chapbooks, CDs and even LPs on display at the September Authors & Artisans Market at As The Page Turns in Travelers Rest, where there were many local authors displaying their works alongside local artisans. It started off with a little rain but turned into a windy but sunny day.
I walked around and talked to most of them, about their books, how their books were published, and where you can find out more, and buy their books.
It was fun getting to know fellow writers living around me on a beautiful day, and seeing all the readers coming and going from the bookshop with books in hand. Many of them were trading in used books for some store credit. Thanks to Amy Williams and store manager, Alex, for working so hard to create this monthly community event.
