Shavana had escaped Square City long ago without killing anyone and she didn't want to start now. She felt that the mere presence of so many weapons loaded with ammunition had made the chemistry of the group more volatile and more difficult for her to influence. Lavender was neither predictable nor trustworthy. Shavana was also concerned about the safety of Craggle Tooth and Four Eyes. But Shavana knew that she was ready to fight to the death before she would ever surrender her freedom. She felt that her sisters and many of the Rebels surrounding them would do the same.
