“Art for Art’s Sake”
Why do you create art…do you have a choice?
Does there need to be a purpose or message behind your artwork? This open theme allows each artist to submit their “Art for Art’s Sake“!
Deadline for submissions is September 27, 2008. Notification of accepted artwork will be Saturday October 4th.
Delivery of accepted work is Saturday October 18, 2008 from 10:00 to 5:00. Show will run from October 24, 2008 through January 16, 2009.
Opening reception is Sat. Nov. 1st from 2:00-5:00 p.m.
Submission Guidelines
Please submit up to three digital images of your artwork, (all media considered) with dimensions and prices to lorri-marie.
All work must be for sale and all wall pieces must be ready to hang with hanging wire and D hooks (no saw tooth hangers accepted).
40% commission is paid to The Main ARTery Gallery for all sold artwork.
$10.00 processing fee per accepted artist.
The Main ARTery Gallery is a non-traditional gallery located in the living room of a 1940’s home in downtown Benicia, CA.
