Veteran saxophonist Bryan Girard has been entertaining jazz audiences for more years than he cares to admit, having performed in virtually every major bay area venue, as well as in Europe and Japan. The group focusses on seldom-played gems from the standard jazz repertoire, delivering powerful and moving performances every time.
Born and raised in San Francisco, jazz saxophonist Bryan Girard majored in music at SF State University and has performed in and around the bay area for over three decades. He has also worked in Canada, Europe and Japan as well as participated in various tours throughout the United States.
Over the years, Bryan has performed with many local stars—pianists Richie Crabtree of the Mastersounds and the late Oakland legend Ed Kelly, guitarists Calvin Keyes (formerly with Ahmad Jamal), Brian Pardo (Stan Getz), Barry Finnerty (Miles Davis), bassist Chris Amberger (Art Blakey), percussionists Danny Spencer (Joe Henderson), David Rokeach (Ray Charles), Babatunde Lea, as well as prominent vocalists Denise Perrier, Brenda Boykin, Frankye Kelly, Lavay Smith, Pamela Rose and Maye Cavallaro.

Tim Campbell has played every keyboard from melodica to grand piano, from rock, r&b, funk to jazz. He has been in groups with drummer Mike Mau (from Stoneground) and currently plays organ-via synthesizer with the Bryan Girard trio as well as Old Skool, a 70″s soul group. Tim has gigged with members of Santana and played with some of the Bay Areas great jazz players like Scott Peterson, Steve Heckman, Mad and Eddie Duran and Noel Jewkes.

Cedric Jensen has been a professional drummer for over 40 years. He has performed with various groups in the NYC and Philly area. Highlights include: dates at NYC’s famous Village Vanguard with Richie Cole; NYC’s “Jazz Mobile” tour with the great saxophonist Cecil Payne; regular work with the Jim DeSalvo Trio; Long Division, a trio featuring late jazz guitar prodigy Ron Quaglia; free improvisation ensemble The Tibetan Bowlers featuring bassist Wilbo Wright (of Ui, played w/ Yo La Tengo, Marc Ribot); and Latin jazz flute player Andrea Brachfeld of the band, Phoenix Rising.
