Lost
by tyriq plummer
Broken winged birds can fly.
Stained glass windows merely die.
Still you look to the sky and say "boo-hoo, and why?"
Still your tears and dry your eyes, the years are passing by!
Why, when you see the sunset,
Can't you see the colors?
Why when they say "not yet,"
Do you still tear down the borders?
O-oh, I've seen tomorrow,
And yeah, it just comes crashing down.
What happened to the hallelujah
When it used to be something?
We've lost our way.
