Photosynthesis

by dr. charles frederickson
		1.
Dreams can only bloom where
Seeds of love are planted
Polliniferous powdery illusions hypnotic trance
Growing wildflower fancy awakening reverie

Blossoming into full-fledged raving beauty
Lush plumage free flight necessity
Plucked feathers horny parallel barbs
Tapering hollow shaft stalking lustfulness

		2.
Buds cannot be forced open
Petals naturally unfolding widespread grace
Soiled taproot wither shaken off
Long-stemmed glory rising above thorns

Fine feathered likenesses flock together
Inky quills crows feet wrinkles
Crinkly serrate switchblades taking leave
Toothsome gritty notched arrow vanes
