Before the Discourse Fades

Will you remember?

Once it vanishes from sight
And the familiarity fades fast
leaving only fragmented memories of discourse in its path

Will you remember the meaning?

Or the way
gazing, glimmering eyes
dilated
once perceiving what sight could not

Will you remember the feeling?

How enormous, and heavy
our hearts grew to be
overlapping

Will you remember me?
