White Spider Dreams

She takes knowledge
wherever it comes from
even magic
and spins something
for tomorrow,
a place where
everyone can use
everything that has ever happened.
Keys from the past
appear in her dreams
and become keys to the future,
clues left in her more
complicated daytime
patterns and designs
reflect the dreamcatcher
hanging over her bed.

Another Great Artist, Another Great Friend
I can hear Eyarb (Braye spelled backwards) now…pushing whoever is on the bandstand with him to new heights! Sometimes that person was me. I met Bob Braye in the late 70’s and we became quick friends, from the Loft Jazz days, to playing in the same band with [...]

Vallejo gets a bad rap when it comes to our youth. We hear plenty about the trouble some of them get in. What we don’t hear about are the young folks who have something intelligent to say, and have given [...]

Spring Cleaning
April 4th, 2007 dave tilton · No Comments
Consider J. Alfred Prufrock not as a fictional character from a T.S. Eliot poem but as a CD reviewer. Let us go then, you and I, and make our way through this spring cleaning of recently purchased CDs for review, using Prufrock’s narrative from his one and only love song to describe other music. [...]

Plan Your Future Goals

I would like to welcome you to another week of self-discovery and universal understanding. You start your forecast week of major transit on early Wednesday morning when Mercury, the planet of communication at 19º Pisces will square Jupiter, the planet of expansion and growth at 19º Sagittarius. The energy expressed from this square of Mercury [...]

Dolmades A La Kovan

My Companion Audrey and I had moved to San [...]
