Gail Mitchell brings out the Poetry Soldiers

You know that when the poets come out, when the poetry publisher comes out, when the unofficial poet laureate of Vallejo comes out, when legendary poet Craig Easley volunteers to drive the feature from San Francisco, then you know that what you’re going to get is the pure stuff, poetry for poets. Gail Mitchell lived up to the magic that preceded her and surrounded her arrival at Listen & Be Heard Poetry Cafe to be featured and indeed read for the first time on our stage.

We also had a couple virgins in the open mic, and a couple, well you know, poetry you-know-whats who returned. Cuz you know you can never get enough. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you could come find out for yourself sometime. No one wants to stay a virgin forever…
