The World of??Work

December 17th, 2007 by melissa schmidt · No Comments

The world of work is the world of anger
Claws and teeth of greed
Cutting jagged edges, the egos jump up
Land down on crossed knees
Fold over¬?blood of change.
¬?
Where are the people who grow¬?lotus flowers?
Their heads are gray; their hands are sullied,
Covered by the white cloth.
The singing¬?poets¬?are drowned¬?by the roar of bombs
A bomb, H bomb.
We need¬?something to be offered from the heavens
Our hearts are oozing for that place
where B and E are joined and knit together.
¬?
Bring us this day new made bread;
where the rough¬?places are made plain
where the crooked is made straight,
Where¬?water turns anger into steam.¬?¬?
