Watch Out

November 6th, 2007 by bill vartnaw · No Comments

Imagine: Everyone in the world wears watches.
Everyone is born with them. By some miracle,
the egg & sperm consummates to conceive a helix of time
& this mainspring coils & uncoils during pregnancy
to create the features of the fetus.

The baby coming out ot the womb wears this watch
upon its body. The continual coiling & uncoiling
distinguishes the baby as much as the nose on its face.
You see, each watch reads a different time
& will always read a different time,
There is no such thing as identical twins.

Everyone knows their watches do not run at the same time
as the Earth?Äôs watch or the sun?Äôs or the moon?Äôs
or even their employer?Äôs. In fact, they usually find out
their watches don?Äôt run at the same speed all the time
& they come at accept that.
So when someone says, ?ÄúYou?Äôre late!?Äù
The reply is ?Äúnot according to my watch.?Äù
