a strange course to take playing golf
I was wedged
into the middle of a fawn?Äôs afternoon
on the wrong side of a doe
rising up the hill
     to chase me
         to a tree where
getting back to my roots
I was relieved to find Darwin correct
this time
     and myself safely on top of
limbs that fit my hands to a tee
