The knowledge and wisdom you gain from these greater life experiences can transform the society you live in.

On Saturday Venus, the planet of personal relationships and artistic expression, will turn direct at 16º Leo. Now you can move forward with your creative activities focused around your love affairs, self-expression, and children. For the last month and a half these areas of your life have been under the influence of a retrograde Venus. Now is the time to express yourself through some creative activity.

Also on Saturday Mars, the planet of personal drive and ego energy, at 19¬∫ Gemini will trine Neptune, the planet of spiritual love and selfless service, at 19¬∫ Aquarius. The energy expressed from this trine of Mars with Neptune is best expressed by useful activities that involve helping others rather than yourself. This morning you may begin a spiritual search for universal understanding that leads you to serve the needs of the people. Today your physical energy is not focused and in fact your own ego drives are relatively weak. That doesn?Äôt mean that you will feel weak or inferior. It just means that you are more conscious of higher desires to serve the poor and disadvantaged, which is a good thing to do.

The energy expressed from this opposition of the Sun with Uranus will create surprising events in your close and intimate relationships. Today you or your partner may become extremely restless or impatient with something within the relationship which can lead to an argument or perhaps a break-up. The surprise or upset conditions can come from people or a person that you don?Äôt know. The lesson that this transit teaches is to have you relate to parts of yourself that you have not adequately expressed before. Take heed of the restless feelings within yourself, and try to find out what it is that you want. It doesn?Äôt matter what it is, or if it is practical; just determine what you want. Personally I know of only a few individuals who are capable of giving unselfish service to mankind and womankind without hope for the proverbial pat on the back for a job well done. True service is rendered where the need is shown or requested of the individual. The art of giving service develops patience and understanding of the people who we must learn to work with in a working and growing environment. For all of those politicians out there whose motive for political public service is from the view point of how much prestige it will bring them, make sure you are aware of the karma return of such selfish individualist thinking. This attitude carries hard lessons of karma, if you ignore or neglect your social and civic responsibility to the general public that you took an oath to serve. The sign Virgo is the last of the personal signs; now the soul must take into account how his or her creative acts affect the world in which they live. Now the soul is held responsible to attain that point of balance. The turning point in the life of the soul is reached with the realization that the tasks accomplished in Virgo can be meaningful only when performed for the collective good. This New Moon you should release your personal perspectives that separate and divide, so that you can gain a more collective understanding of the harmony that exists in the universe. By practicing the art of true service, you will develop an awareness of the true needs of the people you have to live and work with.
