The Russian blood winter

running from a heart so cold

eternal frigidity

began before it started
Keeping a numbing way

the essence of me

in Moscow winter eternal

The infernal Hell of promised sinners

the only respite

my frozen life seeks as reprisal

my life I shudder

in mocking tribute

to those I leave my space

to inflict cruelty upon

each glimmer of hope

another lets slip into my sight

my cynical terror

wipes it from flame to ashes so cold

they’ll never warm again

only dirty the empty soul

that at least had something

Thaw the river

a way of many generations forgotten

staying on top

to stroll on and over common peace requires

degrees of hardness

beginning in may

may not ever ending

’til the years of brittle’s beings become mine

shattering dreams before the imaginative mind

once belonging to all is not

only fear

The Earth a sea water so warm

a current humanity surfs and glides past

rapids and waves

into tranquility

Freedom is below the surface

a little deeper

more encompassing

the sea air

you forget after awhile

round globe full in the middle – center

Love

a ball so small

it’s difficult to find

but once felt

offers a peak inside that lasts forever

You can’t freeze water

but evil

will frost the feelings we use

to believe

by feeling the warmth

what is real makes Hope more than idea

warmth makes Hope a roadmap

a Spring from the Eternal Soul

saying drift in my waters

and never think twice about it

never think twice

thinking twice is doubt

Hope’s enemy
