In The Bourne Ultimatum, the story picks up from the end of The Bourne Supremacy. The buzz about the efficient and resourceful Jason Bourne just won?Äôt die down. Now the CIA is chasing him with renewed vigor after secret information on Bourne is leaked to the press. Driven to gather the remaining portions of his broken memory, Bourne leads the Feds from Europe back to North America. Played by the versatile Matt Damon, the harder the chase, the faster Bourne runs. Not as tightly plotted as the preceding films in the series, the intense action sequences complimented the improbable script. The stunt drivers were superb, staging some of the most incredible movie crashes I have ever seen. There was heavy use of hand-held cameras, creating an urgent and chaotic background. The reliable Scott Glenn played the Director of the CIA. During the film, the audience received some instruction in the skillful use of cell phones.
A new book in the series, titled The Bourne Betrayal, is also available from your favorite book dealer.
