Will the film Live Free or Die Hard finally be the end of the John McClain action series? I guess the box office will have the ultimate say. This latest edition shows that Hollywood can still come up with new bad guys and fresh ways to kill movie characters.
An ex-government software engineer decides that the U.S. needs to learn a lesson about national security. Detective McClain?Äôs intrusion on the action is coincidental, but as always, he takes care of business. There were car crashes, helicopters, explosions, massive firepower and even an F-35. As stated earlier, the deaths were numerous and creative. Maggie Q renders a notable performance as part of the bad guy?Äôs crew.
Though Live Free or Die Hard is a piece of fiction, the story line did cause me to briefly consider the security of our current financial systems. Is there a real-life John McClain, ready to respond if a ?ÄòFire Sale?Äô actually did happen?
