You can’t take a bad picture of a baby, puppy or¬?a flower.¬? Almost to the point for me that its like the provable fish in the barrel.¬?But hey hand me the shotgun.¬?
That is how I felt when a close friend¬? offered me¬?entry to¬?a members-only preview sale at this year’s¬? San Francisco Botanical Garden’s 40th Annual Spring Plant Sale, held at the arboretum in Golden Gate Park¬?(http://www.sfbotanicalgarden.org/.) It is touted as the largest plant sale in the Bay Area, featuring rare and unusual plants from the Garden’s own collection. OK, so I’m a bit of a gardening nerd,¬? and yes I own at least one Gnome, and a pig with wings who guards¬?my Artemisia absinthium. What a treat it was to see that many wonderful plants in one space. Of course the best /or strangest¬?plants were up for sale during the silent¬?auction, with all proceeds¬?going to garden..
So If you missed¬? this year’s¬?sale come down on one of these¬?great spring days¬?and enjoy the fruits¬?of my donation¬?¬?for my new Rosemarinus officinalis prostrates.
Enjoy the park and this slideshow.
