What is self evident is that The Talons play together for the love of music, the love of the drum beat, and just for love too. Originally from a garage in East Palo Alto, The Talons have solidified into a band that keeps the heartbeat of a night meant for fun and exultation alive. Usually they come with a few surprise guests and often with master trumpeter Mark Wright who plans to attend this Saturday April 14 at Listen & Be Heard Poetry Caf√©. Some of that woodshedding that has brought them to this point has taken place over the past year at the caf√© where Tony and I have had the pleasure of listening, greeting their friends and sharing poetry in the intermission and often with the band at the end of the night when a good time has always been had by all. But don?Äôt take my word for it. Take Kash Earley?Äôs word for it. Following is an article she wrote spontaneously after she came out to enjoy the music of the Talons.
