It was a huge pleasure to play at your establishment last night. I may have to move to Vallejo just to be closer to your cafe.
See you next time,

Martha and Tony, thank you so much for that opportunity. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Your sound system was just perfect, I heard the chicken salad sandwich is to die for, the chocolate cake is the bomb and your place has a very warm feel to it. I was very comfortable and that allows me to do my thang.
Again thank you for your hospitality and I look forward to doing it again.
Much Love & Respect

Join us for a viewing of a thought provoking film which explores the contemporary landscape of the African American experience in the United States. Henry Louis Gates Jr., chair of the African American Studies Department at Harvard, leads this journey across America to examine the social and geographical factors, which give definition to the diversity of the African American experience. Having the courage to address some of the more controversial aspects of class, values, racism, and American culture; Dr. Gates give us an opportunity to consider our own communities, and to examine our personal thoughts. The film has us consider the significant gains made by civil rights and at the same time ponders the growing disturbing gaps and disparities that persist in the growing “class divide”. This event offers an chance for our community to engage in an important “America Conversation” about an “American Experience”. In the spirit of our best tradition, an active democracy of folks participating in things that matter deeply, we hope that you will join us and invite your friends. We are pleased to offer this community conversation in honor of “National American Black History Month”.

Greetings Brotha Tony!
This is Nikki Skies, I came through to your spot on Friday night visiting from LA. I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME! The vibe was so warm and welcoming! Most of all… your poetry… THE WORLD NEEDS TO HEAR! Vallejo is lucky, they better recognize! … I would like to direct people to your site as well. If I am back in your area soon I will once again contact you to make sure poetry is still happening!
Thanks again,
