It?s official. [tag]Vallejo Community Access Television Studios[/tag] are open and ready for independent producers who become members of the local not-for-profit to use to produce programming for Channel 27 here in Vallejo. There was an open house on Saturday, Feb. 10 to celebrate the long awaited day. If you switch on your TV and you are a cable subscriber you will find either the Community Bulletin Board or producer?s videos playing. I?ve heard that there is a shortage of tapes presently, so if you?re anxious to have your own program on the air now is an excellent time to do something about it. Glad to see the article on VCAT. As one of the producers, I can speak from experience. This is really a great opportunity to learn, train, and obtain new skills. VCAT is hosting a Meet & Greet Open House on Wednesday, March 23rd from 3-5 pm. Feel free to drop and tour the studio, meet other producers, and enjoy great networking with members of the community.
VCAt is located on the campus of Jesse Bethel High School, 1800 Ascot Parkway, Bldg. H100, Vallejo.
