why is it
it is so wrong to see you like this….

on the edge of oblivion…..

the payback for being kind to strangers….
for giving your love and time…to the lost
for artfull skills of the masters….seeing
and bringing beauty from chaos

virtualy naked into the streets
with your little family of orphans
because you believe in beauty, art…

Comment: Thanks for all your support for this entire area, and especially our hometown Vallejo. I reviewed your most recent print,(sorry your last)publication, that Vallejo has the least amount of hits in this area. I can belive this stat. because Vallejo has always been rich in diversity, but city leadership has not embraced diversity. Diversity is our greatest strength. Thru music, sports I will continue to work with Vallejo’s Youth.

Hi, Martha and Tony:
Thanks so much for hosting Alvon unplugged last night at L&BH–soulful blues, enthusiastic, diverse crowd, and, as always, a warm and welcoming place to hang out in Vallejo! Please bring him back soon, and keep on keepin’ on!

I’m sorry to see that you’re closing off the print version …
I work for www.pittsburgca.net now, covering community events. It’s pretty exciting. We’ll stay in touch. I remembered what you said about just doing something if there’s a need/lack, and I’ve decided to start a sort of “Far East Bay Express” type of paper. Not yet, of course, but after I finish school. There’s definitely a lack of liberal newspapers out here, so I think it’d fill the void pretty well.
Keep up the inspiring work, Martha!

Hi Martha,
Thank you so much for the recognition today. Unity did very much fit in honoring MLK day. I am fine with you adding it to the archives. Many of my friends have not seen the poem as I have only shared it with my family, so it was nice to send the link for others to enjoy.
Thanks again for the posting, and look forward to meeting you and Tony soon.
Best Regards,
Kevin
