Vallejo Pirate Radio Station Loses its Position on the Dial

December 13th, 2006 by s.n. jacobson · No Comments

In their ongoing effort to make peace wth the powers that be at the FCC, [tag]Ozcat radio[/tag] (for the time being) will not be on the air. The FCC has asked Ozcat to shut down until they legally apply for a license, something Ozcat has been trying to do all along. Ironically though, the FCC will not currently accept applications for low power, non-profit, non commercial, community-based stations, and has not for several years now. This was one of the many issues brought up at a recent meeting of DJ?s and staff at the station that I attended. This will not stop the shows from streaming over the WEB (a link can be found at www.ozcatradio.com).
