Listen & Be Heard Awards Show 18 November MMVI Sat.

To those of you that came out to the ‘Award Ceremony’ and there were quite a few, and to those of you that wanted to but did not…a sincere thank you to our ‘B Streeters.’

Steve Oliphant was on stage by my side as I made ‘my’ acceptance speech… Jim Earley was there, and they both sent in spiritual encouragement. It was a great moment.

Listen & Be Heard has been a boon to so many of the locals, and the surrounding Bay Area in total. Such a beautiful, and exhilarating newspaper that openly and lovingly reaches out to everyone.

No, this was not the Academy Awards…but Martha and Tony certainly managed to make it feel exactly like it was. How about that?

I am very proud to be a part of the Listen & Be Heard family, and eagerly look forward to working with Martha and Tony again in the near future, (two people that are sincerely giving all that they have got to give to this community) and to participating in Poetry Open Mic every Friday night…..whooooooooooo!

PS: Actually, the name comes from the Glenn Gould (Canadian classical pianist) radio program of the same name… circa 1968
