I can?t be objective or dispassionate when writing about [tag]Tony Mims[/tag], because I am neither when it comes to him. That?s why I married him. If we hadn?t tied the knot, there wouldn?t be a Listen & Be Heard Poetry Caf?.
Since we opened our doors, there?s been folks who read his column, [tag]Metaphysical Muse[/tag], in the magazine or on-line, buzzing around hoping that he?ll be there serving up coffee and spontaneous personal readings. Now it does happen that way sometimes, but it?s a hit or miss method at best.
Now, for the first time, Tony will spend an hour talking about [tag]metaphysics[/tag], [tag]numerology [/tag]and [tag]astrology[/tag]. Then he?ll spend another hour giving life path readings of audience members. Thursday Night November 16, 7-9 pm. Be prepared to share your birthdate.
Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, Tony has spread his poetry and personalized approach to the practical application of metaphysical principals from the east coast to the west coast. In the 1970?s he was a an original member of Poetry for the People in San Francisco, and hosted the weekly Poetry for the People radio show on KPOO. In the 1980?s in Greenville he had a weekly metaphysical radio show on WFBC and in the 1990?s was the originator of the Poetry Underground series at The Coffee Underground.
Tony comes from a long line of spiritualists. He has ?always been a personal practitioner.? His approach to metaphysics is based on his experience and extensive research combined. When people approach him for readings and/or advice his goal for them to ?take responsibility.?
