Dear Poet

23 folks showed up for poetry tonight at the Benicia Public Library. This is a new-record!

Carole Dwinell advises that our chap book, Every First Tuesday, will be available at our next poetry meeting – 3 October. Be sure to call Gloria Rodriguez to specify the number of copies you want to reserve.. Her number is: 510.245.2217.

Remember also that there is a poetry open mic at Cafe Voltaire on 12 September (Tuesday) at 7:00. Caf? Voltaire, located in Benicia?s historic Tannery at 129 A First Street, features Fair Trade ? Organic Coffee, Tea and Pastries made especially by Duvall?s Coffee Roasting company and local artisans.

Remember always that poetry matters.

Warm Regards
Joel
