3 Lady Poets

May 18th, 2006 by michael todd · No Comments

I?m telling you she is bad like nothingI have ever seen.
Met-a phor-ic liquid sugar
meets black coffee on a tapestry of blue velvet butterflies
laced in a touch of class
shjowcasing adjectives and verbs
held sensous and close
while mind bending sexual inuendo
into symbolism advancing
Freudian like theory and concept
held in perfect element with Uranus
by nouns that eat organic oranges
lurking into shadow
she is pure…bad like nothing I?ve ever seen
and she ia a poet a beautiful poet.

Now let me pause here a moment…mmm let?s see
oh yeah…let?s not forget
a woman independent and self assured
she feeds her children
while entertaining words in space
moonlight layers of golden sun translates a
meta phor found bathing in virgin oils
in other words the chick knows how to flow
her poems are written and recited as
a Fuschia Orchid found at the summit
of mighty Everest grown only in the spring
she has a sincere nature and a very
low key sense of humor
and those words.
Those beautiful words
she recites and writes
what can I say
she is a poet a beautirul poet.

My next beauty is my
avant garde divine blinding light
she is a rainbow wrapped up
in a party waiting to jump
off the Golden Gate Bridge
with a parachute made of satin and lace
then landing in her high heels
insisting she is the cutest girl
at the party
she is love and she is a stone trip
but always she is woman
a woman of many talents and gits
and she is a poet — a beautirul poet.
Peace and love to you beauriful ladies
you have inspired me in the most positive ways.
