This conjunction of the Moon and the Sun is better known as the New Moon. Each month the Moon conjuncts the Sun in the constellation the Sun is transiting. The coming together of the feminine Moon with the masculine Sun each month creates a new beginning, a fresh start with a new focus. The time of the New Moon is when you should plant the seeds of your desire, so that you can harvest the fruits of your actions at the Full Moon. The coming together of the celestial forces of masculinity (Sun), and feminine (Moon), in the skies creates the birth of something new from the exchange of what was shared by the two extreme forces of energy. The same birthing of creation takes place on a physical level when the extremes of masculinity and femininity come together through the experience of exchanging desires in your personal relationship. As you know, that’s how most babies are born on Earth, from the coming together of masculinity and femininity in the intercourse of exchange with each other. I have talked about the celestial forces of masculinity and femininity and the physical forces of the same extremes of male and female energy outside yourself. These same extreme forces of masculinity and femininity also exist within your body. You are made from both forces of energy, so it only seems right that your own personal make-up is also charged with same forces of masculinity and femininity. The key is to acknowledge both forces of creation and find balance from your awareness of both halves of your creative expression of “I AM.”

The celestial forces of the New Moon conjunct the masculine Sun with the feminine Moon creating birth. The conjunction also makes it easy for you to align the forces of masculinity and femininity within the mental and physical make-up of yourself, creating the forces for new birth. This month’s new birth will focus your energy on your value system. As you grow more in awareness of who you really are through your acts of living, you will also change what you value most. This New Moon is a great time to ask yourself, ?What is it I really value about my life?? If you name a material possession with one of your first ten answers, you need to question your motives for living, because your material possessions are not you. You create your possessions, your possessions don’t create you! Place your value in your creative ability, and no matter what happens to your possessions, you will have the power and knowledge to recreate what you value most about life.

Early Saturday morning the Sun, your source of vitality and light at 9? Taurus will sextile Mars, the planet of personal energy and ego drive at 9? Cancer. The energy expressed from this sextile of the Sun with Mars will create opportunity to take action to secure your domestic needs and practical goals.
