Bound Oneirism

April 12th, 2006 by Listen & Be Heard · No Comments

A pall of violent legacy eroded
On a pulsing soul train spike
engraved homeward bound I wish I were
Drawing up the smoky red wisps into the umber twilight
as dusk makes a positive I.D. of the dark?s approach
my thumb comes down and floods warm and ecdysiastic
Momentarily and involuntary knee buckling brainstem
Mu 1 reception very very welcome
Sitting shivasana collapsed easily like
a drooling porched hick
Gone wishes taken away
return in the lambent dawn of discomfort
recrudescing esurient and un-stoppable
Comme il faut as it always will be the inevitable reverie
unheard, hollow and impossible
Wanna but not gonna
pray for an admission
admonishing a confession
confusing a replete depletion
Repeated, seeded and sated but never abated
Disappointed at how long it took to drown
but most of all by the view on the way down
A cortege of dreams becomes a posse of impossibilities
Paid the cost and got real lost
not very amazing
disgrace to salvage or dredge
for the shadow extends now past the ledge
